Transitions

 

Driving Directions to the Transition Areas and where to park.

Start: Middle Waddel ORV Parking Area is Transition 1.  Directions are here, on the Start page:

Transition MTB to Road Bikes: At Mima Falls Trailhead.  Map image (below) shows directions to this area.  Parking will be just outside of the trailhead area to reduce congestion and interferance with the race course.

MW-to-MF

From Capitol Forest - West Bay Park:  Follow Marksman Rd to a Left on Bordeaux.  At T intersectino go left.  Turn right on Littlerock Rd, becomes Maytown Rd, and follow to I-5 Northbound.

MF-to-WB1
MF-to-WB2

Take I-5 to 101 exit and follow to Black Lake Blvd exit.  Turn Right.  Follow Black Lake to right on Harrison.  At round-about go left on West Bay.  Drop paddler above park and return on West Bay to round about.  Go left to downtown via 4th and left on Capitol.  At Farmers' Market go right.  Turn left on Marine View Drive and follow to Swantown Marina and boat launch.  Parking is available in large lot overlooking Budd Bay.  Go past turn for boat launch to find right turn into parking area.

WB-to-SWT

Final transition is at Marine Dr and Jefferson St.  From Swantown Parking area, return on Marine Dr and turn left at stop sign.  There is a large gravel parking area adjacent to intersection of Marine and Jefferson.  Park here for transition from run to Trek.
